ZC Lion MacDonald introduced Paul Kessler as the Student of the Month for March.


Paul is a 3 year letterman on the varsity football team, 2 year letterman on the baseball team, He is a 2 year member of NHS, and is secretary of the Spanish Club.


Paul will attend the College of Wooster for Business Management where he has received the Dean's Award and Wooster Grant.


Lion Nancy Lamey won the 50-50 drawing, and rumor has it that her loving husband Richard immediately ask for a cut to cover green fees. That is only a rumor, but it does have a ring of truth to it.

The club received a thank you note from the Beaver County Association for the Blind for the donation of $250 and the $100 for a hole sponsor at the May 22, Golf Outing.
Everyone is encouraged to help out with this fund raiser by soliciting hole sponsors($100), teams to play in the outing ($400/4 man team), or having businesses become major sponsors ($500) of the event. Forms for hole sponsors, major sponsors, or players are available from the secretary.

Nancy Lewis will be our sponsored camper at Beacon Lodge again this year. We are asking Nancy to take some pictures of her activities at the camp to be shared with the club.

It was approved that Chippewa and Little Beaver would agree to sponsor a band member to participate in the All State Band.

The Recreation Board requested $200 for sponsorship of a softball team this year. It was approved and a check was forwarded to the board.

Lion Hendry reported that the St. Patricks Day Party for the BCAB at the Lighthouse on March 14 was a success.

Lion Turner reported that $1,522.77 has been collected through the Sight Seals Campaign.

Lion Rieseck reported that the annual Mother's Day Rose Sale will be May 8, 9. Pickup of the roses will be on Thursday evening, and delivery will be Friday with road side sale commencing at the Fire Hall at 10:00 am and concluding when the last rose is sold, or lunch time on Mother's Day, which ever comes first.
